How can i open files that are .mus?Do i need a special program?

its a sheet music file and im at a loss as to how to open it. do i need some kind of program? and if yes is it something i can get free?from where? thanks

MUS is a Finale File. You can open the file using Finale NotePad 2008, which is free. You can download it from here. http://www.finalemusic.com/
If it still doesn’t open, the file may have came from a previous version of Finale. Hope this helps!
